Alexa Woods represents developers, equity
investors, landlords, tenants, builders, contractors
and many small entrepreneur business owners. Ms.
Woods represents companies in the acquisition, sale and
development of land, shopping centers and office buildings,
acquisition and sale of businesses, financing, construction
loans and leases for all property types. She has also
represented clients in the purchase and financing of
automobile dealerships. In addition, Ms. Woods has
significant experience in negotiating pharmaceutical supply,
storage and distribution agreements.
She received her
undergraduate degree, with highest distinction, from Indiana
University—Indianapolis
and her law degree, graduating
cum laude,
from the Indiana University School of Law—Indianapolis.
Prior to joining Wallack Somers & Haas, Ms. Woods was a
Partner at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP and also served
as a law clerk to The Honorable Patrick D.
Sullivan of the Indiana Court of Appeals.
Ms. Woods has been recognized in
Chambers USA: America’s Leading Business Lawyers.
Ms. Woods is a Member of Indiana State Bar Association and
the Indianapolis Bar Association. She
currently serves as chair-elect of the IBA Business |
