Mark Boos represents developers,
buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, borrowers, and lenders
in the full gamut of commercial real estate transactions. As real estate counsel to
two
prominent North American convenience store operators, Mark has coordinated
numerous large-scale multi-site, multi-state property
acquisitions and provided representation in scores of
development projects, build-to-suit leasing arrangements,
and sale-leaseback transactions throughout the United
States. In addition, Mark represents multiple locally based
real estate developers in the financing, acquisition,
development, leasing, and disposition of retail, office,
warehouse and other commercial properties, including
condominium projects and, most recently, data center
properties.
Prior to joining Wallack Somers & Haas,
P.C., Mark was a partner at Baker & Daniels, LLP in
Indianapolis. He began his legal career practicing real
estate and environmental law in Evansville, Indiana.
Mark graduated with
distinction from Manchester College in North Manchester,
Indiana, and earned his law degree from the University of
Colorado School of Law. He was a member of the Living
Downtown Committee for the Indianapolis Regional Center Plan
2020 and is active in civic and charitable activities. Mark
has written numerous articles about legal issues affecting
business, and has been a presenter at several legal education seminars and
workshops. Mark was named an Indiana "Super Lawyer"
by Indianapolis Monthly magazine in both 2007 and
2009 and earned the
designation "Recommended in Real Estate" from Chambers &
Partners USA.
