Concentration: Real Estate, Development, Leasing and Financing

Sam Arena has served as lead counsel on a wide variety of real estate transactions, including the acquisition, development, and leasing of retail, office, and industrial space. Mr. Arena has represented regional and national developers with respect to the development of shopping centers and mixed-use projects, has represented banks and other lending institutions with respect to the financing of real estate transactions and the analysis and operation of bank-owned properties, and has acted as real estate and development counsel for a regional convenience store operator. Sam has also assisted companies and individuals in the formation of corporations, limited liability companies, and other business organizations.

Mr. Arena graduated from Indiana University—Bloomington (B.A., with distinction; J.D., cum laude). He is a member of the American, Indiana, Indianapolis and Wisconsin Bar Associations, the Urban Land Institute, and has served on the board of directors of and acted as counsel for various non-profit organizations.

Mr. Arena was recently selected as a 2009 Indiana Rising Star by Indiana Super Lawyers.
